Lesson Learnt

OMG!!! For the first time ever, Winnie is right!!

What I mean is this:

Referring to my Valentine's Day post whereby I criticized Winnie for being ignorant. Bottom of the entry. She was looking through Kenny Roger's music album, when she looked up and ask me: ehh mi ar..Kenny Rogers, is it the same as the chicken? Kenny Rogers Chicken? I said no. They just have the same name.

We were still arguing about it just now, after I looked back at the entry I had written months earlier. Then we both went to google it. Turns out she was right!!! What the hell right?!

Just earlier this evening, cs and I were having dinner at a kopitiam, when I overheard an aunty behind our table say:

OUT OF 8 OF US, EVERYONE IS OVERWEIGHT. I'M THE ONLY NORMAL ONE. (In a loud voice)

Of course I turned around to stare at her. I mean, who would announce that in public right? So, I turned to cs and whispered: that woman is not slim herself. Why she dare to say it so loudly??

Cs and I (pause listening to their conversation wtf, I know!) stop eating for a while.

After 2 minutes, he burst out laughing and said: she is talking about her luggage lar. She just came back from China.

Geddit?

Fuck I know la. I should not eavesdrop on other people's conversation (even though she was loud), and even worse to criticize and laugh at other people without hearing the full story.

From Winnie's case, I know not to laugh so fast.

But I seriously don't think I can stop myself from sneering at her in the future.
