Paragon

On Friday night, I went to Paragon, located at Travillion with the group. As their celebration for my birthday. The place is all right if you get the VIP seats on top. If you are stuck downstairs, you are so crowded and pushed everywhere everytime you try to dance. So, always get the seats upstairs.

In Kuching, to get a VIP table, you have to pay more money, meaning buy more drinks to enable seats. On Fri night, it was less crowded so we just had to open one bottle and voila, a private dancefloor without gawking male strangers. heh. nice.

This year for my 25th, I received a rather special cake:

What did I do to deserve this? Haha..do I act freaking horny or do I crack horny jokes like my ex professor during MBA. He used to crack horny jokes in class. I forgot his name..remember nifer?

The baker really pays attention to detail eh. Look at the sperm on top. And condom by the side. The balls look quite disgusting though.. Looks aside, this cake tastes pretty good. Winie who tried the condom part says it tastes like blueberry. The cake itself is rich, moist chocolate. Very much to my surprise. I was expecting a super sweet cake, or dry unedible cake.

Thanks guys for that night!! I had fun!

Lucky we were seated upstairs away from the crowd or we couldn't be as noisy/wild as we did that night..

The top is made of a biscuit-y base by the way...

Looks a bit gross here..

Winnie attacking the balls. Nana had the other side. heh..

Baby measuring his own with the fake one.

Baby with a fake orgasm.

Played some drinking game for a while..loser for the night was winnie! No one was drunk though, a good thing. Especially since I had to work on Sat!! Screw!

Baby showing off his dance moves as usual..

The alcohol kicks in, and winnie, alvin and ah boon perform their own dance moves..heh. drinking games and alcohol are essential to every party cos then everyone is happily carefree and shameless.

We look so happy..

I'm a lucky girl and yes I know it. Thanks for the party, the cake, and all the fun and laughter.

25

Normally on the day of my birthday itself, I am obligated to have dinner with the family. The parents are very big on the whole family thing. So I always reserve the day itself for family. This year, I chose to go to Mr. Ho (Winnie's idea) located at Crown Square/Tower, ground floor.

As soon as we sat down, dad said/exclaimed: we have beer tonight. Heineken bottle! So, mum, dad, winnie and I shared 8 bottles of Heineken between us. As soon as dad turned to Kevin to ask whether he would like beer or not, Kevin turned to the waiter and said: SPRITE! Dad said: might as well order milk?!!

A toast to me..

Later, when Kevin ordered mushroom soup for himself, the waiter asked how many mushroom soups? Mum said none for me cos we are having beer. Dad exclaimed again: ohh..right. No soup for us. Just one for the one who drinks milk. Jokingly of course. Kevin is seriously very good natured. He just grinned as we all (including the waiter) laughed at him.

I hope that I don't look as big as this photo shows.

These are what we had for dinner!

Roast Pork. Damn its good! Crispy and oh so fragant. Tastes so good. Very high praise coming from me ok.

Ceaser salad was too salty.

This pasta (forgot the name tastes not bad..)

Prawn cake

Bruschetta. From what I can tell it is Garlic bread toasted and topped with tomatoes, chopped olive n spices.

I like this photo of them. Very natural. Mum looks good here..

The family.

Choc cheesecake and I. I don't know how it tastes like. Only Kevin had enough space for dessert.

Vain photos coming up. Get ready..

Seriously. I don't know who bothers to read this crap. Heh I can't be bothered to update. Sorry guys! When I started this blog, I wrote cos I wanted somewhere to jot down my thoughts. Now that I am online everyday at work, reading and writing, I feel so tired and fed up typing to my blog. When I first started this blog, I wrote to hide my feelings. But now that friends are reading this crap, damn...it doesn't feel so private and safe anymore..

Now, I just write about what everyone knows...

P/S: Sorry Shirley that I was BUSY when you called last night!!!! I will email you soon! Tomorrow!

Elevate

Last Saturday night cs and I accidentally stumbled upon an event at Terminal One. It was the ELEVATE event. No idea what it was really. From what I learned that night, some cigarrette company sponsored the event. As the whole venue was in green, I suppose it had to do with Heineken and the green packets of Pall Mall. They invited 2 MC's from KL, as well as DJ's, and pole dancers from KL.

I shall let the pictures do the talking..

What I look like for the night. I pale in comparison with the number of hot chicks present. Alot of the ladies wore dresses boo while I had on an old top and denim skirt.

T1 totally pimped their pub. It looked nothing like this before. Something semi-big must be going on as they closed the road outside as well, and inflated huge balloons.

Click for larger image. Those two flat screens were actually some sort of game. I don't know how it works as I didn't get to play those..I was standing too far away.

I saw a couple of guys holding huge cameras and videocameras. I think cs and I will end up in a magazine again. Argh. The last time it happened, my parents found it funny. That I go to club too often that I'm featured inside an article on the clubs in Kuching. wtf..

This was one of the dancers of the night. I think there were three?

Cs and I had a good spot, which enabled us a close up view of her assets. Most of the men were holding up their camera phones, with gleeful/triumphant smiles on their faces. Can't blame them. Its right there for you to see.

Spot a piece of ass..

To sum it up, the music was great. Nice for dancing if only they had a dance floor. Good crowd. Nothing too rowdy, no kids shouting and pushing. Just nice. Played games by nice MC's. It was ok, but too crowded to see what was going on. Drinks were priced more or less the same.. Overall, it was ok. Maybe cos it was just cs and I. It would have been more fun if it had been a crowd. With the group, I can predict that ah boon would be gawking at the dancers haha.. Ah ong would be busy snapping photos and videos. Nana and frankie would dance with cs and I. Boo..

Its gettin hot in here

It is so freaking HOT!! Kuching is so HOT! The whole town is covered in thick, hot, humid haze. Everyone is either getting sick, already sick, or recovering from sickness. Meanwhile, swine flu slowly spreads in Kuching. It is so hot that its no wonder everyone is suffering from heat stroke. I pity baby who has to work outside everyday, driving in this heat is suffering. No air conditioning will help. Even in my cold 9th floor office, it is not as cold as usual.

It is so hot that I can't think straight now. I just showered. It is 1135pm. Yet, it is stifling hot. Damn it. So pointless putting on moisturizer or lotion nowadays that I can't be bothered to do it. Maybe I'm "hotter" than usual cos I just spent the last couple of hours in a stifling badminton court watching kuching's version of lee chung wei vs lindan.

********

My brother and good friend is playing Wii in the living room now.

Winnie kicking ah pau's ass at boxing. Literally. I've only tried bowling and tennis with Kevin. It was quite fun once you get over the "this feels weird/I feel stupid" part. Heh. I'm watching ah pau playing golf now. He is very happy/excited, while Kevin is well..being Kevin. Criticising. Come to think of it, Kevin wasn't always like this. He only got to be sooo..bad mouthed during our teenage years. 14? 15? Too bad its permanent.

*******

Taukenio. Hard at work at cs' shop. I wish he sells more novels. Hah. Then I can save money on novels. Just erm "borrow" from his shop. And "return" when I feel like it. I've nearly finished one whole bookshelf already baby. Time to order more books. :p

Kidding actually. I do work ok. I erm..buy him drinks when he is thirsty. I talk to him to lighten his stress. I make him laugh. I massage for him(shirley and nifer, miss me??) heh. No lar..I collect money when the item comes with a barcode for me to scan. I put things into plastic bags when someone is watching, i.e. his parents. Heh..

Updates

1)I love Korean food when it comes with so many side dishes. We ordered Kimchi fried rice. I like the slightly burnt taste. I think they cooked it with some stone pot.

It came with 6 side dishes consisting of Kimchi, some cabbages, clams, cold unappetizing egg, spinach, and black beans. The clams were yummy and the kimchi too. The bf thinks the kimchi is pretty tasteless compared with the ones his mum make. I don't know since I don't eat Korean food much. The other side dishes are nothing special. We went to Koreana located at Premier 101, btw.

2) The State Parliament building opened in Kuching and all the Agung's, Tan Sri's, Datuk's and whatever were in town for the past week. Police were everywhere, roads closed, which caused traffic jams and hold ups thus making us late to work, to go home or anywhere for that matter. Poor policemen though, standing there directing traffic day and night, in the heat, and even in the rain.

This is the newly built building:

Photo stolen off google images. It looks pretty impressive by night, all lit up.

This is us at Terminal One one night witnessing the event. Fireworks and some boat parade to celebrate the opening.

Grand finale taken with my 3mp camera. Sorry for lousy quality..

3) I redyed my hair. According to my hairstylist, I am 25, but have the hair of a 35 year old cos I'm balding. Booo... She asked: ur not scared har? wtf. Of cos I don't like it that I'm balding but what can I do?? Go for balding treatment? Seriously?! Shit!

After wash and blow dry. Back to normal..

4) My siblings and mum are back from Taiwan last night. The house is back to normal. TV on at all times, noisy and normal chatter resumes. I kinda miss the quiet. Maybe cos I'm still sick, so I need the quiet to rest/sleep.

The three shopaholics bought so much stuff. New shoes, new pants, new shirts, new bras, new accessories and Kevin gained weight. Expected actually. Kevin and mum each also have a new fake iPhone in black. Haha.. Kevin got his for free; mum bought hers for RM 250.

I miss baby. Been neglecting him the past few days. Sorry baby.
