Woe is me..

I spent so much money on my health this year. It is only May 1st and I don't know how many times I have gone to the Doctor already!

Two weeks back I was sick again, and went to a Doctor, who gave me not so strong medications. I know my body well. My tonsils are the cause of most of the problems. Once I have sore throat, then my tonsils get inflamed and then fever, cough, nausea and bring on all the other sheet. Hate it!

But when I explain to the Doctor, he doesn't seem to take me seriously. So I was not fully well. Now two weeks later, I'm sick again. Went to another different Doctor, who gave me two shots. Whaii..

One shot in my ass, and the other as shown in the photo above. This was from earlier today. After this, I'm feeling much better already! Thank God.

I have so many needles in me this year. Even though the needles do me good, it seems like my arm have barely healed, and another needle is in again. Sigh.

Hepatitis A+B, cervix cancer jab, blood tests and visits to the Doc. Fook this sheet. And you need to get three shots for the Hepatitis and cervix cancer jabs each, which means I am due for another shot next week, and two more in the following months. Painful leh!

I also apparently sprained my right arm last week. I have no idea how it happened. My arm was already hurting sometimes, occasionally but nothing so serious yet. But on Monday morning, I just couldn't lift my arm up without crying out in pain. But I still went to work. Stooopid.

Whaii do I always get sick or got troubles on Monday? I don't blame other people for not believing that I'm sick or sprained my arm lo. Too much of a coincidence that I am always away on Monday.

Anyway about the fucking arm, in one week, I went to three different people/places to fix it. Now its almost back to normal. Supposedly sprained it in three places. Hurts like hell. No idea how it happened but I should not carry heavy things or do strenuous exercise.

Yay for me. Nay for Cs. Hahah. Got excuse to not do house work or cook at all.

OK lah depressing topic of the day.

Ending here.

What's in my bag?!

I miss my long hair!!! Makes my face look smaller. Now my face looks chubby somehow. And yes, I'm growing it out, obviously! :D Short hair fail!

Anyway, meme today! I wanted to do the what's in my bag meme that fourfeetnine and Kah Ling both did! Both not quite the same..a bit different but oh well. I'm combining both!

Starting with a big ass photo of self! Obviously quite dated photo cos my hair was still long. But I miss!!

So for my bag, it depends where I am going. To work, I use a dark blue denim bag or a brown bag. Both not in the photo.

To go shopping or out at night, I am recently using these three bags. I'm not a fan of big hand bags. And I don't really use branded bags. I have them but aih a bit wasting time. Sometimes I feel that what would people think if I use my LV bag? Would they think its fake? Or if I get a stain on my bag, then die lah!! Hehhehh..I didn't buy them. Gift from daddy!

My Betty Boop wallet that mum bought for me from Universal Studios Singapore. I have only started using it recently. This is the front.

And this is the back..quite cute but I don't really like the grey colour cos I think that it looks dirty over time! And I'm so afraid I get a stain or whatnot on it. Anyway, I have yet to find a wallet that I reaaallly like with all sorts of pockets inside, and looks good. And is easy to carry around, and matches my clothes. Cos I keep taking my wallet out with my phone to walk around during lunch time!

And these are some of the things in my bag! My access card to the office, iPod nano, Eclipse mint hahha, Doraemon tissue paper, pens, mirror, and a coin pouch.

Ipod was a gift from Cs when we were still friends. He said he was trying to woo me back then, but I thought we were friends only. He was afraid that I wouldn't accept the gift so he actually thought of a story to cheat me!!

He just came back from Bangkok and told me that he bought the ipod from BKK cos it was sooo cheap there, and I believed him!! Only after we got together then I knew that he bought it from the Apple store in Tun Jugah! Cheat me!! =.=

I always have tissue with me everywhere. Should see my desk at work: littered with tissue. :X hahha or my house or Cs' car. I have toilet paper and boxes of tissue everywhere. I know..save the environment! But I can't survive without lah sorry.

Mirror and coin pouch, both bought from Taiwan. The only prettier things that brighten up my bag.

I took these photos on our bed. That is Cs playing with his phone by the side.

And these are probably weird items in my bag: tiny crystal balls, cos dad gave them to me and told me to put them in my bag and bring them everywhere. So I did. Double sided pantyliner from Sofy (I think that's the brand!) - best invention ever! So convenient. Got a stain or run out of toilet paper? Just take off the top layer and voila clean undies! Hahahha

Next up: pink panadol for period pains, cotton bud to dab at fallen mascara, and plaster.

In case its too hot out or my hair gets too messy/unmanageable, I tie it up or clip them to one side.

And the rest are all my lip stuff! I have quite a lot. These are not complete by any means. Heh heh.

From left, NYX lip stick (bought online), heavy rotation lip concealer, lip gloss from Sasa (bought in Macau), Mentholatum lip balm!!! (the one thing I never leave house without - I have about 5 of these scattered around the house :X), and heavy rotation lip gloss. Nude colour. Nicee!

*****

Arghh!! Miss my long hair!!

Anyway. Moving on moving on! Here are some of the make up I use often. Not complete! Just that it looks much neater when I take photo of the ones I use often only! Heh heh.

When Xiaxue blogged that she loved ZA's two way skin powder, I went to buy them too. I'm so easily persuaded. =.=

BUT!! I was so pleasantly surprised!! It is good! Easy to apply and provides quite good coverage! I use the ZA energy water as well but forgot to take photo. NYX make up palette that I use quite often these days, and Mary Kay's blush powder. Both equally good!

The concealer was bought from Cosway. Winnie used it first and I loved it! Covered all my eye bags, eye shadows, and all other fine spots etc. Good!! So I asked her to get me one as well. Don't know how much it costs.

There bigger picture so you can go buy it too! :D

What's cool is that it comes in both liquid and stick. Awesome eh? I use the liquid mostly and then stick (sometimes only). And you only need to use a little each time so this little tube can probably last me till next year, at least..

I don't know why my photos turn out so bright. Hmm..

From left: eyelash curler (probably from Guardian or Watsons), Marjolica's err..pre mascara thingy (forgot what do you call em again- basically you put them on before mascara supposedly to lengthen your lashes. I don't know if it works but I feel better with them on! haha), Revlon mascara (quite good), eyebrow mascara (gold colour to match my hair), Cyber Colour's eyebrow pen (very nice, I like!), eyelash comb (to comb out after putting on mascara), In2it's gel eyeliner (so smooth, just glides on!! And cheap!! Must get!!), and brush.

And I'm getting tired. Cs is yawning beside me. :)

Nite all.

Btw, all photos taken with my trusty Iphone 4! That was the Rabito phase. Now my phone is in an original white leather case.

P/S: Actually looking through my stuff again, it looks quite boring leh. I should have elaborated more and added more stuff. Oh well.

***

I'm in a reaaaallly bad mood today actually and it seems to reflect on the post I wrote above. Bah. For starters, I kinda twisted/sprained my right arm on Monday!! It is much better now, but still hurts when I try to lift my arm. I still cannot take off my own clothes. On Monday, I couldn't even put on my own bra. God knows what made me decide to go to work anyway. I did and left after to go to the Doctor. Idiot!

Talking to Cs some time back, I realized that there are still things that even Cs doesn't know about me. Apparently I talk too little about myself. Elaborate too little. I realize this is the case even when I am out with other friends. Particularly with other people. If I can't even talk to my own husband, my best friend, the person who knows me best, then how do I confide in others?

I always thought that being humble is the best. Humility trumps boastfulness. God I hate people who are sooo hou lian, sooo into themselves, and talk non stop about themselves. I get the feeling that people think I'm stupid or something when I choose not to answer back. Because I feel that being humble is better lah. Better not quarrel. Quarrel for what? Just to win this round? And ruin the friendship? I know that some people will say that I let people step all over me with this kind of mindset.

Point is, I can be bitchy! Oh yes, it is soo easy to be bitchy!!!! I can talk about myself if I want to! But why?! Maybe its the way I was brought up. Ok now, I sound a bit cocky. No, I'm trying to get this off my chest!

I feel misunderstood. Just because I don't feel the need to share all my past stories, past experiences, etc, does not mean I have none. I do, but while you are all so busy sharing yours, everyone assumed I have none. And that is the way it has always been.

Better to let people think I'm dumb than bitchy. Haih.

Or maybe sometimes I keep quiet because some things are just too stupid to be true! Like I deem it beneath me to answer back (damn cocky now!). See? So easy to be bitchy! But no one likes a bitch! If I go on being bitchy, it would easily become a habit. I think bad thoughts. I used to be but then I want to think positive thoughts.

Instead of letting it put me down, I tell myself: forget it! Its not important. Don't start a fight.

But this is one time too many!! Grrr... My silence is my way of saying whatever!!!

But maybe I should start being bitchy again. But why? If there is anything Cs taught me, it would be to hold my temper. I think this is his influence. Before, I would just fuck them all back!

My weekend and Sinar Serapi

My Saturday was spent sleeping till 330pm. :X So late I know. This is the latest I have slept since...this year. And last year too probably. :X In my defense, I slept at 330am the night before. I was out with Winnie, and that woman always manages to keep me up till 2-3am every time! Hahah.

At about 5pm, we went to Sinar Serapi Eco Theme Park at Matang area. They have kayak facilities, steamboat, karaoke at night etc. It was OK lah..can try it once.

Kayak was RM 20 for 1 hour, and the paddle boat was RM 30 (for half hour or one hour, I don't remember).

Cs and I didn't play anything because he somehow injured his arm. Our best guess is that it was an old badminton injury that came back while he was doing some chores or another. And I was malas. Just felt like lazing around doing nothing. So we sat there ordering food and drinks while watching the others play. :)

The food was ok priced..not too expensive or cheap. My fries was lousy..soggy and oily. Yuck. Cs' chicken wings were good but costs freaking RM 8 for 2.

The fried bee hoon was really good (I tried); most of us ordered that for dinner (RM 6, me thinks).

The sandwich costs RM 9 and it came with bacon/ham, eggs, cheese, tomato, lettuce and a side order of fries. Big helping. That was worth it. Alvin ordered the sandwich and I didn't eat so I don't know nice or not. But they all said it was damn worth it lah. Hahha..

The bar ?

They sell alcohol too. Beer for RM 6, and about RM 20+. They have karaoke session at night where people request songs and go up to sing onstage in front of everyone else. A lot of Malay songs..so we left soon after that. No lah, we were also tired after that. Yea, sitting around the whole evening doing nothing except eating is tiring.

**

My hair is getting longer!! A bit dilemma actually. Should I cut it again? When I was in KL, one of the stylists told me: you only cut it once! Try more. Go for different styles/cuts etc. If not no fun if you go back to your old hair so fast. =.= He has a point.

But I so hate the feeling of my hair at the back of my neck when I sweat. I use the treadmill often and I hate that when I sweat alot, I can't tie it all behind me like I did before. And my hair sticks out all over the place. When I don't blow dry properly, it is a mess. Sounds like I already made up my mind. =.=

But if I am in KL now, I just might let that guy cut my hair for me again. Cos he sounds damn pro. Heh.

My shoes damn cute. <3 them. :)

This photo of Winnie was taken at T1. So long since we went in there. We went in to use the toilet and get free drinks only. Friday night ladies! Guys pay RM 25. :X Whaii so expensive!!

I always take photos in the toilet not because I'm bored at work or that I'm trying to escape for a while..no..no..really...I'm actually just showing Cs what the girls toilet look like. Hehh

I was trying to finish the leftover food in the fridge, namely cabbage and carrots. So I made this steamed rice in a pot thingy again. With tuna. Tastes good really even though it doesn't look good!

We finished it all. :) And apparently I have yet to estimate it properly. I cooked too little rice and the husband got hungry very soon after. But also maybe cos I didn't put meat inside.

The leftover cabbage and carrots were also used for my coleslaw for lunch the next day. I added in raisins for some sweetness. Yum! Love raisins in coleslaw and in rice, like at Sugar Bun. Nice..

*****
Today, I feel particularly productive compared to my Saturday. I woke up at 10am (shocker!!!) and went for a facial at 11. After that, while waiting for Cs to pick me up, I went to Green Gallery. After that we went to Hielo for some frozen yoghurt with fruits and oreos!! This is goooooddd!!

On a hot sunny Sunday afternoon. Nicee. We also went to One Jaya to buy some DVDs, then to Starbucks for some coffee. Later we went to Spring..shopped around at Ta Kiong, check out the new iPad and bumped into a lot of people. Had pizza for dinner. :X Damn that was a lot of food in one day.

At home, worked off the calories by doing housework: vacuum, sweep, mop, iron clothes, install radio upstairs as it can be used to watch movies too.

That is what we are doing now. Watching Stephen Chow's old movies in our room, while I am typing this out. :)

OK night!

KL trip and meeting LCW!!

We went to KL last weekend. Here are some photos from our phones, courtesy of Camera360 and Multilens. Actually most of them from my phone lah. When I am present in an outing, I always end up the one taking photos. :)

Mum is taking up this habit of mine: taking photos of everything ever since she got her new phone. She is saying things such as: wait wait! I want to take photos and post on Facebook! Only problem is she knows how to take photos but has not yet learned how to post on Facebook. Which is why I am the one taking photos of the food and tagging her. Yes, she does have an account!

Its okay lah. I have nothing to hide. Except my blog. Mum sometimes translate my blog into Chinese. So this is for you, mama! Hi!! Hahahha..

Back to topic. On the plane wasting time. I seem to always start any vacation photos with photos of us taken on the plane. Habit. Marks a beginning what. The first and last photo of us would be on the plane again! Hahha habit!

No make up, so made it black and white! Gone were the days when I can go without make up and still look fresh, young, and I don't know..look like I'm 21! Haih! Concealer is now my best friend. As is my foundation and powder.

I should take less photos of food. These were buffalo wings from TGI Friday's. We were at the Pavillion branch.
My sirloin steak!! Yum! Mashed potatoes were good, but a bit salty. How to make awesome mashed potatoes, I wonder? Kinda impossible without plenty of butter, milk and whatnot.

When I cook, I sometimes tend to put less oil, less salt, cut down sugar, cut off chicken skin and almost all excess fat, with the result that my food sometimes taste kind of err..you know.

It is because I see exactly what I am eating mah so I don't like it. Anyway, when I am eating alone, I don't mind somewhat. My typical pasta salad I make for my workday lunch is healthy man! Lemme share the recipe now since I feel like it!

Cook one small bowl of pasta. I always use the spiral ones. Add salt in the water. Chop whatever vegetables I have in the fridge. Normally its carrots, cucumber, broccoli, or red/green peppers. Whichever I have left. Chop them up and throw them into the pasta to boil together.

Drain everything. Combine these together in a bowl. Add in a clove of diced garlic. Sprinkle salt, pepper, thyme, red wine vinegar/apple cider vinegar, and most times I add in a spoon or two of tuna. Not the tuna with oil. Tuna with mayo. The kind you eat with bread one. Yea, I add it in and mix everything up. Voila! Lunch!

I prepare it the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight. Actually it tastes not that bad. Self praise is no praise. Wait I go ask Cs. He said its good. But Cs is my husband. So yea, someone try it out and let me know. :D

Btw, if you notice there is no meat, its true. If I had my own way, I would rarely cook meat.. I do eat outside or when my parents cook or whatever. And yes, I do cook meat for Cs.

Pavilion! Too bad it was kinda late and most shops were closing boo. Saw that there were sales at F21. Ahh..missed out on that!

Nice or not this photo?! Camera360 again! Looks kinda real eh?

Oh ohh I love these things below. I don't really know what is inside but should be those red octopus thingy. The yellow thing on top seems to be eggs and potatoes. Omg love these things!! Yummeh! From Sakae Sushi at Times Square.

I could not decide on what nail design to make. These are all failed designs. I like the middle finger one but sooo hard to draw! I made a mess and that was only one finger. So bah gave up! In the end, I painted all my fingers black. Zzzz..

This was courtesy of Pano Camera. So easy to use. But I didn't do such a good job for my first try. At Jalan Alor.

Second try was much better! I changed locations. First was dinner. Second was supper. =.=

Next day we went to Sunway Pyramid to meet Dato Lee Chong Wei. Also known as the world's number 1 badminton singles player

Also known as Cs' idol. Awesome not!! Cs is LCW's number 1 fan really. He was sooo excited. Actually we had no idea that LCW would be in KL even before we went.

We were in the hotel room and Cs was reading up on LCW's fan page on Facebook (as usual), when he suddenly gasped/hyperventilated: LCW is going to be in Sunway Pyramid tomorrow!!!!

Hahhah so of course we went bright and early!

It was organized by Cafe 99 actually. LCW is the brand ambassador. So we bought 2 packs of the coffee and LCW's book (we already have the English copy; we bought the Chinese one) for LCW to sign.

This is some inspirational corner to leave messages. I bet LCW don't have time to read all these. Boo.

I wrote this anyway:

While waiting, we join in the competitions, play games with the MC, and queued for about 1.5 hours. Ok lah not that long a wait. But we were carrying coffee bags in addition to our shopping. Good thing the MC was good. Kept us all very entertained.

Cs finally met his idol!! Hahha he was soo excited! Do they look alike or do they look alike? Countless people have mentioned that they look alike, and Cs have been mistaken for LCW many times in pubs, on the street, and even in schools! Before, I didn't think so. Not really. But look at them side by side!!

This photo below is clearer, but not so alike right? The photo above got more resemblance!

OK lah. Enough. Back to me. Not that I don't love LCW too, I do! In fact if we can only go to London for this summer's Olympics!! OMG!! Dream come true!! Killing two birds with one stone!
CS can go watch Olympics and I can go back to London! Visit Shirley! Ahhh..I wish!

Because of Xiaxue, I went to Popular to read up on The Secret, and went to Google it as well. Actually it seems to boil down to positive thinking. But stronger than that. Laws of attraction and all that. So I shall keep that in mind. And visualise myself with Cs strolling hand in hand in Leicester Square, Oxford Circus, St James Park, Picadilly Circus, London Bridge!! Aaaakkk!!

OMG! Dream come true! I would show him LSC College, London and Tower bridge, 168 B Jamaica Road. Bring him to Kings Cross and show him the Mcd where I spent so much time in. Bring him to China town, Camden town, Bond Street!! And all the places I wish I could have brought my family to.

It will come true. Sooner or later. :)

Night!
